Population (as per 2011 census)
As per the 2011 census, the total population of the panchayat is 34,555 . Of these, 17,251 are males and 17,304 are females . There are 2,799 Scheduled Caste (SC) residents; of which 1,390 are males and 1,409 are females . There are 114 Scheduled Tribe (ST) residents; of which 68 are males and 46 are females. There is a slight female preponderance in the population structure of the panchayat in terms of the female-male ratio.
